great hotel experience

helpful staff pleasant room heated pool
The staff were helpful. i stayed in a privilege garden view room and it was pleasing. Nuxe shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and a dyson hairdryer were a nice touch. dressing gowns were also provided. the pool was heated and a welcome addition after a day exploring.
The room smelled of cigarette smoke and it was unacceptable. I hope they address this issue.

The reception service was very efficient. The staff assisted with directions and provided helpful information about local attractions. the bell service was prompt, and luggage handling was seamless. I really liked that.

the hotel included a small fitness center, with two treadmills and several weight machines. there was a garden offering a quiet retreat with comfortable seating. the hotel also had a heated outdoor pool and a sun deck.

decent stay in a good location

great location welcome gift breakfast buffet dark room confusing switches single light
the hotel is in a great location near the cathedral. a famous mcdonald's is also close by (i was surprised to see chandeliers there!). i received a welcome gift of pasteis de nata and fruit in my room. the breakfast buffet offered a good selection.
the room could have been brighter at night. there were many light switches, but they were confusing. a single light could be turned off by multiple switches (it was a bit annoying).

mixed experience. small room and cigarette smell were issues.

small room cigarette smell
i paid for a privilege room listed at 25 square meters. it felt much smaller. there was barely enough room for both of us to open our suitcases. the room smelled like cigarette smoke at night. that was really unacceptable, especially for a hotel supposedly part of a major chain.

the hotel location proved very central. i found it easy to reach many attractions. the staff seemed helpful . the room included nuxe shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. a dyson hairdryer was also in my room.

inadequate space smaller room
the location was acceptable. it was close to the metro station.
the room i booked was supposed to be 25 square meters. it felt significantly smaller, maybe 15 to 20 square meters. we had trouble opening our suitcases and found the space inadequate.
